Converse/Marimekko Poster Wins Gold MEDALS

GOLD MEDAL WINNING POSTER
12TH INTERNATIONAL POSTER BIENNIAL OF MEXICO: FRANZ MEYER MUSEUM
Andrew Lewis has won the GOLD MEDAL for his poster featuring the Converse & Marimekko collaboration for British Columbia retailer Baggins Shoes. The design featured the classic Chuck Taylor shoe combined with the brilliant graphic print styles of Finland’s Marimekko brand. The 12th International Poster Biennial, held in Mexico City awarded the GOLD MEDAL in the Commercial Category. Andrew Lewis is the first Canadian Graphic designer to win this prestigious, international award.
