A Year in Review
The beautiful Lake Huron seaside town of Bayfield contacted ALD to create a new branding system to reflect their new Centre for the Arts project. An interconnected design was created to reflect the diverse and wide range of projects and services that will take place in this arts centre.
From their website:
The BCA provides a unique opportunity for the general public, aspiring and professional artists to learn and practice traditional, contemporary and emerging approaches to the visual arts, fine crafts, culinary arts and new media, while sharing best practices amongst themselves and the general public. We do this by providing high-quality structured educational opportunities and exposure to the arts through workshops, open studios, mobile art programs, exhibitions and festivals for all ages and abilities.
BEE TATTOO
Jessica Petelle, Film Producer, Director and great friend contacted AL to design a custom tattoo that would feature a bee and encapsulate her personal visions and beliefs.
After completing the highly visible and social media darling of Locomotive Espresso in South London, owner Jill Wright asked ALD to rework their logo brand. The solution was to streamline and simplify the logo and create an understated and modern wordmark without reinventing any new design. Yellow and black were selected from the mural palette and are being introduced into the rollout of the brand.
